Walking (with or without dog) from Haus Hundereich
Basically, it almost doesn't matter which way you go. You can walk many kilometers with your dog in this area without often being close to the road.
If you turn left out of the house past the other houses and keep left again, you can take a walk around the field. Most dogs are off the lead there. Mutual consideration should be a matter of course. Beware, especially at weekends when the weather is good, there can be lots of runners, cyclists and horse riders out and about!
After leaving the house on the right, a small path leads you into the forest after just 50 meters. If you keep left downhill, you will come to the lower field, which you can also walk halfway around. Past the Elsässer Stube restaurant, a path on the right leads up the meadow, and if you keep to the right, you will return to the starting point.
You can also take this small path towards Gysenberg if you turn right instead of left at the first fork. After three minutes, a small slope leads up to a paved path. Keep to the left and if you then continue straight ahead, you will first cross Wiescherstraße and then walk towards the ice rink on Gysenberg.
Dogs that can be called off are generally allowed to run off the lead on the footpaths. Exception: nature reserves ("Naturschutzgebiete", you will see signs).
